NZ Thermally broken aluminium – frame and glazing – with clear double glazing has an average R-Value of 0.31 W/m²K

NZ Thermally broken aluminium window – frame and glazing – with low-E, argon-filled double glazing has an average R-Value of 0.43 W/m²K

uPVC or wooden windows & doors – frame and glazing with standard low-E, argon-filled double glazing has an average U-Value of 1.0 – 1.4 W/m²K = R-Value of 1.0 – 0.714 W/m²K
